About

I've always loved listening to and telling stories particularly with images and performance. I was keen to work in a creative industry and gamely enrolled onto a media foundation course. During the course an oppertunity arose to write and direct a short video, I caught the bug. 'Punkenstein - The Birth of Punk' won a national competition and was screened in the NFT at the London film festival. My tutors strongly advised I apply to a leading film school getting a job as a runner in the meantime. Bournemouth school of film and television was the school of choice for aspiring film makers wanting to break into feature films, commercials and documentaries during the early 90's and after my second attempt I was accepted. I will be forever grateful for being awarded a Fuji Film Scholarship along with the oppertunity's and experience the film school gave me and the friends I made there.

Today I offer a complete film and video production service from creative, script writing, storyboarding and producing to direction, camera operation through to editing, audio mixing and colour grading as well as freelancing my skills to films and TV shows. I'll shoot on anything including HD, XDCAM and HDV as well as 16mm & Super 8mm.

I am currently writing and planning a series of viral videos for a national company that will be broadcast throughout the Internet and will be shot on the Canon EOS system using prime lenses. If you would like a viral video created for your organisation or are keen to collaborate and join forces on a project then I'd be delighted to hear your story!

Many thanks
Simon
